The relevance of each state

Western Australia [WA] (10%) and South Australia [SA] (7%) have much smaller populations (see below) than [QLD] Queensland and the other combined states of [NSW/ACT] and [VIC/TAS].

So these two states have a much smaller impact on total sales, and therefore the national chart.

Population per Australian State and/or Territory

  1. [NSW] New South Wales 7,247,700 32.23%
  2. [VIC] Victoria 5,574,500 24.79%
  3. [QLD] Queensland 4,513,000 20.7%
  4. [WA] Western Australia 2,387,200 10.61%
  5. [SA] South Australia 1,645,000 7.31%
  6. [TAS] Tasmania 511,700 2.28%
  7. [ACT] Australian Capital Territory 370,700 1.64%
  8. Northern Territory 232,400 1.03%
  9. Australian Antarctic Territory 1,000 0.0%
  10. Jervis Bay Territory 495 0.0%

Total : Australia : 22,485,300

Elvis Presley Video Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley DVD

Never before have we seen an Elvis Presley concert from the 1950's with sound. Until Now! The DVD Contains recently discovered unreleased film of Elvis performing 6 songs, including Heartbreak Hotel and Don't Be Cruel, live in Tupelo Mississippi 1956. Included we see a live performance of the elusive Long Tall Sally seen here for the first time ever. + Plus Bonus DVD Audio.

This is an excellent release no fan should be without it.

The 'parade' footage is good to see as it puts you in the right context with color and b&w footage. The interviews of Elvis' Parents are well worth hearing too. The afternoon show footage is wonderful and electrifying : Here is Elvis in his prime rocking and rolling in front of 11.000 people. Highly recommended.
